PLAYBOOKS

Something's happened.
Here's what to do.

A playbook starts from a situation: traffic has fallen, a migration is booked, the board wants a number. Each one gives you the steps in order, says which SEORCE module does each step, and is honest about what stays with you.

A playbook is the quickest route when something specific has happened. If you want the subject explained properly, or the product itself, start from one of the others.

What is a SEORCE playbook?

A SEORCE playbook is a step-by-step guide to one SEO situation, such as a sudden traffic drop, a site migration or a budget review. It opens with the signs that you are in that situation, sets out the steps in order, and shows what each one looks like using a demo account. Every step names the SEORCE module that does it, and the steps that need a person are marked as such.

Key facts

  • A playbook starts from a situation. A use-case guide starts from a subject
  • Each one has four to six steps, in the order they should be done
  • The steps work with any tools. The examples show them in SEORCE
  • Examples use a demo account, and none of them promises a result
  • Every playbook says which steps software can do and which need a person
