Markup for in-person or virtual events. Enables event rich results in Google (date, location, link to tickets).
What are the required fields?
name, startDate, location. For in-person events location is Place; for virtual it is VirtualLocation.
How to mark virtual events?

How to handle recurring events?
One Event per occurrence with its own startDate. For a series, use "subEvent" pointing to each occurrence.
Should I link to the ticket page?
Yes via Offer.url and offers.availability. Google renders the ticket CTA directly in the SERP.
What image works best?
1200×630 landscape. Matches Open Graph defaults.
Does Event schema work for webinars?
Yes. Virtual event with OnlineEventAttendanceMode. Same schema, different attendance mode.
What about multi-day events?
Set startDate and endDate. For a conference with sessions, each session can be a subEvent.
Can two events share the same URL?
Not ideal. Prefer unique URL per event. Multi-event pages can list each with its own JSON-LD @graph entry.
