Bulk HTTP Status Code Checker
Paste up to 500 URLs and get HTTP status, response time, redirect location, and server header for each. Essential for site migrations, post-launch monitoring, and finding dead links at scale.
Technical SEO Intelligence
A broken deploy shows up here before it shows up in rankings.
Google Search Console reports status codes with a 48-72 hour delay. This tool checks instantly. Run after deploys, migrations, or when SEORCE's monitor alerts on a 500. All checks run via a Cloudflare Worker. URLs are not stored.

Follow redirects all the way through
If you see 3xx responses, use the Redirect Chain Tracer to find out where each one ends up: and whether there's a loop.
Frequently asked questions
What is this tool for?
Checks HTTP status codes for a batch of URLs at once. Flags 404s, 500s, redirects, and response times across up to 500 URLs per run.
What statuses should I worry about?
5xx (server errors) are critical. 404s need redirect fixes. 301s are fine but chains > 1 hop are a problem.
How is this different from a crawler?
A crawler walks internal links. This tool checks a specific URL list. Use both: crawler to find pages, this to verify a known list.
Can I detect redirect chains?
Use the dedicated Redirect Chain Tracer. This tool shows the first-hop status and location only.
Does the tool follow redirects?
No by default. It reports the first response. Set the follow-redirects option to resolve to final URL.
How large a batch can I run?
500 URLs per run. Larger batches split server-side with rate limiting.
What timeout does the tool use?
10 seconds per request. URLs timing out are reported as such.
What user-agent does the tool send?
A SEORCE-identified user-agent. Sites don't block it; some rate-limit after many requests.
Can I check staging URLs behind basic auth?
Not currently. The tool is public-facing. For auth-gated staging, use a desktop crawler on your own network.
Why would a URL return 200 but be broken?
Soft 404: see the Soft 404 Detector. Also JS-rendered error pages that return 200 but show "not found" to users.
Does the response time include DNS?
Yes. Full round-trip from the Worker to your origin. Expect 100 to 500ms for well-configured sites.

This tool does one job. SEORCE Technical Suite crawls your whole site with fast and secure crawlers and ranks technical issues by impact.
